Polestar Precept was conceived as a commitment car. The antidote to a concept car, Precept was our answer to some pressing questions facing our industry. How can we be more sustainable? Do we need to sacrifice aesthetics in the name of the environment? How can we make the in-car experience more connected, intuitive, and contextualised? Concept cars that are Hollywood dreams will never answer these questions. We built Precept to show that this was our take on these issues. Our answer to the riddle of more sustainable, connected, electric performance.

The response to Precept was all the confirmation we needed. The sustainable, upcycled and animal-free materials we used in its construction showed that we could redefine modern premium. The infotainment system (again, with Google built in), more informative and responsive than ever before. The public saw this and were not shy about saying they wanted Precept to be more than a mission statement on four wheels. And frankly, we agree.

So, we’re putting Precept into production.
