Let us describe the challenge we offer
At Polestar, we pride ourselves on running a transparent, future-forward Communications department. We are looking for a sharp, innovative and hands-on professional to help manage Polestar North America’s Communications amongst internal staff and external partners. This newly-created role will drive internal, retail and cross-functional communications at Polestar in support of the broader Communications team for both the USA and Canada.
What you´ll do
End-to-end management of Polestar North America’s cross-functional communications matrix, ensuring all departments are coordinated and on a unified company message
All internal communications and strategy for associated events
Retailer communications and news portal management
Copywriting for all communications functions
Editorial management of all company newsletters
General support and speech drafting for corporate communications activity
Drive company CSR efforts
Occasional support of PR and Social Media teams, including event staffing
Departmental budget tracking (including public relations budget)
Maintaining internal archives and asset library (including media relations materials)
You and your skills
3-5 years of Communications experience (Agency experience and/or a background outside automotive are preferred)
Impeccable writing skills, both corporate and creative
Track record of unifying messaging across different business functions
The ideal candidate will obsess over details, but simultaneously keep an eye on the big picture
Ability to think strategically and work tactically, with strong project management skills
Carry the demeanor necessary to work with, and present to, executive leadership
Thrive working within a fast-paced, constantly-evolving environment
Willingness to travel as necessary
Proficiency in the French language a plus
This role is office-based on a daily basis, located in Mahwah, New Jersey
