Aftersales Product Manager Extras/Accessories

The Product Management Team, a part of the Global Car Service & Repair Experience department, is a team with a mission to deliver winning products, Extras and spare parts, throughout the car lifecycle that exceed the customers’ expectations. Our aim is to guide the industry when it comes to innovative offers around areas such as Performance, Entertainment, Comfort or Lifestyle (for example related to load and tow). 

The position is located at our HQ in Gothenburg Sweden. We understand that work-life balance isn’t easy, and of course, welcome our employees to work flexible hours and from home a couple of days per week if needed. We believe in empowerment.  


What you´ll do 

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning of Extras throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the Extras product vision & strategy, and working closely with the car product owners, the Extras program manager as well as engineering, sales, marketing and support to develop and launch new products and ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. 

Further on you will: 

  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships when it comes to new products and circularity 
  • Be an expert with respect to the area of accessories in the automotive industry 
  • Set pricing strategy to meet revenue and profitability goals 
  • Deliver a monthly revenue forecast 
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success 
  • Give input to development budget (R&D) 
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly market meetings 
  • Act as a leader within the company 


Who You Are 

You are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized and driven, having a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You work well individually as well as in a team. You possess strong communication skills and confidence standing in front of members of the Executive management team to sell your innovative ideas around the product portfolio. English is a natural language for you to use in written and spoken communication. Personal fit will be of great importance in this recruitment, as we are actively working to build a team with diverse experience, gender and background. 

We also believe you have:

  • University degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering
  • 5+ years of work-life experience within the field
  • Long-standing experience in electrical products, automotive and/or aftersales would be invaluable to us
  • Experience working with designing sustainable service offers for increased customer satisfaction
