Let us describe the challenge we offer

As a CRM Specialist you will join the local marketing team and take lead over CRM projects. You will work with projects in all parts of the customer journey - lead generation, customer prospecting and owner & loyalty. You will play an important role in the development of our consumer communication in Belgium and Luxembourg, within the global Polestar guidelines and strategy.

This is a key role reporting into the Digital marketing manager, with multiple touchpoints with other local functions and HQ teams. You’ll be located at our office in Brussels, Belgium.

 

What you’ll do

You create the plan within CRM to drive the CRM initiatives from start to finish. Your projects will cover all areas of the customer journey and vary in size and complexity. They will for example include:

Lead Generation

  • Set up and implement digital lead generation campaigns, together with the Digital marketing manager.
  • Ensure incoming leads are of high quality and can be processed with GDPR compliancy.
  • Work closely with the sales team to optimize the conversion of leads.

Customer Prospecting

  • Translate the global automated journeys to the local market needs and languages.
  • Optimize and improve conversion focusing on mid-funnel leads.

Owner and loyalty

  • Manage the local newsletter strategy by combining localized global content and relevant local stories and setting up the e-mails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Translate the global automated journeys to the local market needs and languages.
  • Work closely with the CX team to optimize engagement and loyalty
  • Optimize and improve engagement and loyalty focusing on lower funnel leads and clients (including Newsletters).

Content

  • Be up to date on and adhere to Polestar’s brand guidelines and tone of voice
  • Manage all content and translations in collaboration with translation agency
  • Ensure efficient asset management

Data driven

  • Responsible for data quality and optimization of the database.
  • Analyze available data of all CRM communications to determine impact of content, design, customer journey on visitor behavior and lead generation.

 

Who you are 

To be a great fit for this position you have excellent communication and analytical skills with an understanding of customer segmentation. You have a proactive and hands-on attitude and can create processes and establish a scalable way of working within your area. You are passionate about CRM communication and it’s important that you are results driven with an excellent attention to detail.
We also believe you have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other Marketing Automation systems. Experience in working with Salesforce Sales Cloud is a plus
  • Understanding on compliance and consent from a marketing perspective
  • High level of knowledge of Marketing and Sales specializing in either lead qualifying, loyalty best practices or lead conversion
  • Proven work experience as a CRM specialist with minimal 5 years’ experience
  • Experience working with a premium brands and products in a digital environment is important, retail or e-commerce experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Structured and effective with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, French and Dutch
  • Passionate about sustainability and Customer Experience
