CRM Project Leader

As a CRM Project Leader you will be overall responsible for the local and global realization of CRM initiatives using all required resources from the Customer Relationship Management team.


Let us describe the challenge we offer

As Polestar and Customer Relationship Management team is growing, we are now looking for another Project Leader to join the team and take lead over CRM projects and processes. You will work with projects in all parts of the customer journey - lead generation, customer prospecting and owner & loyalty. You will play an important role in the development of CRM Marketing Automation and developing our global consumer communication.

This role is part of the global CRM communication team, with multiple touchpoints with other HQ functions but also with our colleagues across the globe. You’ll be located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. 

What you’ll do

With your passion, you will be creating the plan and scope for the required activities within CRM communication to drive the CRM initiative from start to finish. Further on you will create CRM consumer journeys on a global level i.e. frameworks and lead projects in their development and local adaptation, both from a process flow as well as content requester. The common tasks for our project leaders include continuous process improvement of user experience and customer journey by setting up guidelines, processes and ways of working for different types of communication in various audience segments. Together with CRM analytics, you will also develop and advise on KPIs for performance measurement.

Your projects will cover all areas of the customer journey and vary in size and complexity. They can for example include:

  •  Lead Generation, strategically working with inbound lead generation, but also when required be hands on in our marketing automation tool, as well as supporting other team members.
  • Setting up and implementing digital lead generation campaigns, together with CRM Marketing automation specialist but also the Digital marketing team.
  • Work closely with the marketing teams to establish an inbound lead generation that is synchronized with campaigns that are leveraging multiple channels.

Customer Prospecting

  • Drive projects to increase targeted consumer communication to improve engagement and conversion focusing on mid-funnel leads.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to optimize the conversion using off and online channels in our journeys.

 Owner and loyalty

  • Drive projects to increase targeted consumer communication to improve engagement and loyalty focusing on lower-funnel leads.
  • Work closely with the Ownership experience team to optimize the engagement and loyalty, using off and online channels in our journeys.


Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have excellent communication and analytical skills with an understanding of customer segmentation. You have a hands-on attitude and can create processes and establish a scalable way of working within your area. You are passionate about CRM communication and it’s important that you are results driven with an excellent attention to detail.

We also believe you have:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other Marketing Automation systems
  • Understanding on compliance and consent from a marketing perspective
  • High level of knowledge of Marketing and Sales specializing in either lead qualifying, loyalty best practices or lead conversion
  • Experience from a multimarket global organization, managing multiple stakeholders in a decentralized setting
