How we will grow together

The people at Polestar believe in a mission to create a zero emission planet. We also care about building sustainable relationships with our customers. But we can’t get there alone. That’s why the CX Operations Team is setting up a key department – our very own CX Operations Center in the Netherlands! 

In this function you will:

  • Work at the heart of all customer operations within Polestar.
  • You will work both directly with customers, as well as with third parties representing Polestar, to ensure that customers can get the help and information they need through the channel that best suits them. 
  • You and the team will work together to deliver exceptional customer experiences, while maintaining close relations with all the other teams within Polestar.
  • You will be starting at our brand new office in Beesd, Netherlands. 
  • Together with your approximately 10 colleagues, you will set the bar for success within the service delivery towards our customers.

Your contribution to Polestar

It is quite a bit more than just showing up to your desk. As a Customer Experience Specialist you play a key role in our strategy to create a best-in-class, customer focused, direct sales model and to give our Polestar owners the best possible ownership experience. Since the team is in a scale-up phase, you will have a dedicated area within customer care where you can thrive and develop into your full potential.

The role includes being a first point of contact for our customers, where you will focus into one or several of these areas in accordance with our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process:

  • Emails, enquiries, chats, service-inbound calls and/or outbound follow up calls.
  • You advise and help people buy their new vehicles and guide them through the ordering process.
  • You resolve cases and questions from customers and owners.

For example, you support customers through the buying process, where you provide them with product information, additional offers or complaint resolution. You cooperate closely with internal teams to provide a seamless experience for Polestar customers.

During the first weeks of your employment, you will receive an onboarding period where you will learn about your role, your team and the Polestar approach to things. After completing this, you will enter our Training and Development Program, which is an on-going opportunity to learn and grow in skills – we believe in a culture of coaching and development for all people joining our brand.

 

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a mindset to help people in the best possible way, and to provide them with all necessary information they need to thoroughly enjoy their Polestar-ownership. After all, a better climate starts with satisfied customers. We will set you up in the best possible way, by giving you access to everything you need in order to be successful as a Customer Experience Specialist.

Here are some core skills Polestar is looking for;

  • Completed studies on MBO+ level with excellent oral and written communication skills, in both English and Dutch.
  • Over six months experience in a similar role where phone, computer and email were your daily working tools.
  • A good understanding of computers, IT-functionalities and office software/technology.
  • Able to work the opening hours of our CX Operations Team which will be Monday to Thursday 08.00-20.00, Friday 08.00-17.00, Saturday 10.00-15.00 (the working hours will be shift-based over these times).

You are of extra value if you also possess;

  • Additional language skills.
  • Have some work experience in the automotive industry.

Note that the last two preferences are not obligatory. We are looking for like-minded people in the first place, skills and experience may be obtained whilst working at Polestar.
