Our Quality & Logistics department work to ensure the quality in Polestar products throughout the life cycle of our product and services. This strategic role is part of the Order-to-Delivery team with a focus on enhancing and optimizing Polestar’s delivery and hand over operations in all markets and regions where we operate. The role is part of our global logistic function and will be located in our North America Office in Mahwah, New Jersey.


What you’ll do

In this role, you will act as a key stakeholder to ensure that processes, systems and supplier pre-conditions are engineered to support best possible output and customer experience. With a close collaboration with Order-to-Delivery, Hand Over Operations, Digital teams and Dealer Partners, you will together ensure the best performance and process output.

Since this is a strategic role, an emphasis will be placed on structural improvements and partner performance. Also, you will develop and follow up Polestar’s delivery performance to support Polestar’s Direct-to-Consumer business model by acting as a business owner and drive developments with related stakeholders, both externally and internally.

Additionally, you will:

  • Actively identify local and regional OtD improvement potential
  • Lead and coordinate process engineering efforts related to vehicle distribution and delivery processes, hand over operations and ensure full alignment with our digital customer journey
  • Secure alignment and join development in areas together with Polestar’s Hand Over operations team and CX Community
  • Identify relevant strategic partnerships and business solutions
  • Secure standards and address development needs in partner service level agreements
  • Management of reporting and related KPI’s


Who you are

To be a great fit for this role, we are looking for you with a ‘can-do’ attitude with top notch organizational skills consisting of attention to details and the ability to multi-task. You have a strong analytical mindset and an excellent problem-solving competence. In your broad experience of communicating with different stakeholders, you have gained strong multi-disciplinary skills in business and financial analytics, modeling, strategic planning, marketing and research, public speaking, and negotiation. Additionally, you are comfortable to travel if required, and you have a thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods.

Further on, we are searching for you who have:

  • A Bachelor Degree (or higher) within a relevant field, for example Logistics or Business Management
  • Proven track record of Business Development, Project Management, Change Management and implementation work
  • Experience in Business Operations, Outbound Vehicle Logistics and Supply Chain or Value Chain Management areas
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft’s O365 suite and performance evaluation and change management principles
  • High proficiency in building cases based on large data sets
  • Experience of leading and developing cross functional teams
  • Previous experience of the automotive sector and value chain related improvement work is very meritorious as well as working in online driven direct-to-consumer based business models
