Let us describe the challenge we offer

The people at Polestar believe in our sustainable mission to the planet, but we also care about building sustainable relationships with our customers. The Customer Care team is in an exciting phase of developing a new inhouse function – our very own Customer Care Center! This function will work both directly with customers, as well as with third parties representing Polestar, to ensure that customers can get the help and information they need through the channel that best suits them. In this golden opportunity, you and the team will together deliver exceptional customer experiences.

We are looking for a service minded Customer Care Advisor who will be working in this new inhouse function from the very beginning.

We love spending time together and learning from each other – we therefore invite you to work from our new office located in Zurich. We embrace our office days; however, we understand the importance of changing working environments – we are flexible for working remotely whenever you prefer. The opening hours of our Customer Care Center will be Monday to Thursday 08.00-20.00, Friday 08.00-17.00, Saturday 10.00-15.00, the working hours will be shift based over these times. Together with your approximately 9-12 colleagues, you will inaugurate this new office and set the bar for success within the service delivery towards our customers.


What you’ll do

In this new role, you will provide excellent customer service through building and maintaining friendly and professional relationships with potential, current and previous Polestar customers. Since the team is in a scale-up phase, you will have a dedicated area within customer care where you can thrive and develop into your full potential.

The role includes being a first point of contact for our customers, where you will focus into one or several of these areas in accordance with our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) process:

  •  Emails, enquiries, chats, service-inbound calls and/or outbound follow up calls. You might also be supporting in our customers’ social media activity

For example, you might support customers through the buying process, be the first line of complaint resolution, or provide customers with product information. You will work closely with internal teams to provide a streamlined experience for customers.

During the first weeks of your employment, you will have an induction period where you will learn about your role, your team and the Polestar way. After completing this, you will be a part of a training and development program, which is an on-going opportunity to learn and grow in skills – we believe in a culture of coaching and development for all people joining.

 

Who you are

To be a great fit for this role, we are looking for you with exceptional customer service skills. You are immaculate in listening and have an enthusiastic and flexible approach with the ability to work as part of a team.

Your passion for EV and our planet surges through your communication into providing energetic and positive customer service. In addition to this, you are resilient, motivated with attention to detail and the promise to deliver qualitative work thanks to your good time management skills.

Further on, we are searching for you who have:

  • Completed studies on a high school-level or higher
  • More than six months experience in a role within Customer Service as a focus, including the phone, computer and email as your daily working tools
  • Good IT and computer understanding within software/technology
  • Excellent oral and written communication in German plus one more national language (French, Italian)
  • Good command of English both verbal and written

It is meritorious if you have the following:

  • Additional language skills
  • Work life experience from the automotive industry
