This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting journey to continue the launch and growth of the Polestar brand and to be part of the team leading Polestar in Europe. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic start-up organisation. Europe is the largest region within Polestar in terms of volume and is expanding rapidly in both market coverage and sales.

This is a key role in the business, and you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the sales strategy across all channels and markets. A key and unique element to the role will be leading sales via our on-line direct sales platform ensuring that the platform gives our customers a truly exceptional experience and helps us achieve our sales growth. You must be an automotive sales professional with experience in these key areas who is proactive, consumer centric, commercial results-driven and wants to perform a pivotal sales management role in one of the most innovative and exciting premium car brands in the industry.

This role will report directly into the Commercial Operations Director for the European Region. You will be part of a small regional team but expected to work closely with all markets within the European Region. The role is European based, home country has some flexibility. Regular travel within Europe will be expected.

What you´ll do

The key responsibility of the role is to develop sales capability and drive sales within the European region. You will work closely with both the European regional team and our Global colleagues to optimize our digital platform, refine our sales process and co-ordinate the Polestar Sales Units (PSU) in each of our markets.

You will for example:

  • Review and develop the region’s sales performance; achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify sales strategy to optimize profitability across the entire Polestar value chain.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our customer sales journey providing an efficient and effective way to hold our customers hands through our direct on-line sales process.
  • Own and drive our customer lead and test drive follow-up process.
  • Identify and share best practice from within and across our European markets.
  • Significant travel will be expected, as you will be working closely with each of the in-market PSU teams.
