Remarketing Manager, Used Cars – Polestar Austria

Let us describe the challenge we offer 

As the Remarketing Manager at Polestar Austria, you will be responsible for managing Polestar’s Pre-owned vehicle program and remarketing in Austria. You will develop and manage our Pre-owned Polestar process and will be working with Polestar partners to optimize Pre-owned sales. You will also be responsible for the pricing strategy of the Pre-owned Polestar vehicles, developing new partnerships to increase residual value of used vehicles and creating new business processes to support Polestar Pre-owned program.

What you´ll do

  • Manage Polestar Pre-owned vehicle sales and monitor stock levels
  • Develop local pricing strategies and tools to drive revenue
  • Manage partnerships with local service providers in remarketing area
  • Ensure fulfilment of Polestar Pre-owned standards across operations through regular audits and provided training
  • Develop new and innovative sales strategies for used cars to enhance the second cycle of vehicles
  • Report and follow-up on sales performance and KPIs
  • Internal fleet management and support de-fleet process of internal and company cars
  • Ensure that the digital customer journey matches the physical processes
  • Monitor market residual value performance against competitors

Who you are

  • Well experienced of managing vehicle remarketing at a major automotive brand with a deep understanding how car manufacturers manage used vehicles
  • Experience with data analysis, financial analysis, and market sales analysis
  • Experience in developing relationships with and managing strategic partners, and other external stakeholders and vendors
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

As a person you have ‘can do’ attitude and solid organizational skills, comfortable with applying fundamental supply and demand principles to real world and analyzing large data sets, developing insights and actions based on data. Creative, ambitious, analytical, and someone who loves building new businesses and organizations. You thrive in a dynamic, startup environment and have a passion for electric vehicles, digitalization and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will bring relevant work experience, strong intellectual capacity, and a rock-solid work ethic to the role. This position is in Vienna. Periodically you will travel in market and region as a part of a global team.

The minimum salary for this position is 50.000€ gross p.a., with willingness to overpay depending on your experience, competencies and qualifications.
