Hi there, we are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join our Digital Enablement team.

About Agile Collaboration – Digital Enablement Area

The purpose of the team is to enhance agile collaboration for teams working within Polestar. The team handles tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha & Miro – with the common denominator to bring people together around collaborative product development. In the hybrid workspace we offer, these capabilities are a glue that connects teams & people. The team is a shared service but also works with stakeholders with very specific needs. As a technical lead you will be a servant leader for the team, enabling a collaborative culture of co-creating capabilities needed to make Polestar deliver great digital products.

About the role

The Technical Lead is a digital product owner, supporting the team in creating clarity on what outcomes are wanted from the stakeholders. You love your backlog and refining backlog items together with stakeholders, architects, and the team. You will also work hands-on with delivering backlog items & evangelising on how to work with the tools to enable better collaboration. Since the team with its current scope is very new, you also find an interest in co-creating your agile way of working.

Through their understanding of the market/industry, customer needs and their tech savviness, Technical Leads ask the right questions and thereby steer their team in the right direction. They are also relationship builders, working alongside external and internal stakeholders to support their team in developing their digital products/services/platforms.

What you will do

  • Stakeholder & backlog management, classic product management activities
  • Helping your team to deliver great outcomes by giving clarity on the WHAT & WHY of the backlog items
  • Protecting your team’s ability to focus by keeping a prioritised backlog and limited WIP
  • Collaboration with stakeholders and users of your capabilities to develop them in the right direction
  • Encourage a data driven approach to enhance the services in scope
  • Through demos and coaching support other teams to improve their use of the capabilities in scope
  • Responsible for following up on team-level KPIs and OKRs, and if needed steer the team's direction to meet set KPIs/OKRs
  • Work with the Digital Product Manager and Digital Leads with budget, people development needs, and business cases for new investments

Who you are

  • Experience as a technical product owner, with demonstrable skills of leading agile teams
  • Experience from working with shared services / platform products with high degree of self-service for users
  • Knowledge hungry and tech savvy
  • Strong collaborator
  • Experience of working with cloud, git / source code management, backlog tools, CI/CD, DevOps, agile development…
  • Excellent listener and strong communication skills
