About the role

This role combines the overall reasonability of quality assurance for new configuration (QA Manager) as well as running the day-to-day operations for the platform level 2 support (Incident manager).

The purpose of the QA manager role within Workday platform is to participate in the platform team to design, create, implement, and monitor the quality processes that ensures that the product satisfies the needs and requirements from a quality perspective. 

It involves activities such as ensuring that the Digital Common principles and practices are adhered to in the team and that specifications, test artifacts, technical documents etc. are in place according to the set standards. The work also includes creating, planning and coordinating well-structured test plans and runs with relevant test cases.

As QA Manager, you will 

  • Lead test phases and be responsible the software quality for all new initiatives and sign off quality before each release.
  • Plan, design, execute and report software tests.
  • Implement, configure and train testers in the processes and tools for quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance on how to incorporate the quality aspect into the product areas for small changes based on the business and software requirements.
  • Analyse, update and create test strategies across product areas.
  • Report, analyse and follow up on test results and track software testing metrics across our product areas.
  • Lead feature adoption regression tests.
  • Build and maintain a regression suite for common use cases.

The purpose of the incident manager role is to ensure the normal service operation and in case of incidents, restore it as quickly as possible, and minimize the adverse impact on business operations. The responsibility includes ensuring that agreed levels of service quality are maintained and the communication on the progress of incidents and requests are communicated with the end user. Thus, managing the life cycle of all incidents. 

As Incident Manager, you will

  • Maintain user satisfaction with the quality of IT services
  • Monitor, assign and follow up on level 2 support cases.
  •  Facilitate resolution across support teams where needed.
  • Ensuring KB articles are created for recurring incidents.
  • Drive the implementation of ITIL based support flow with Incident, Problem and Change management
  • KPI and metrics reporting via Service Now.

About you

  • Have experience working with Workday
  • Have experience in implementation of ITIL based support flow with Incident, Problem and Change management
  • Have experience in leading test phases and be responsible the software quality for all new initiatives and sign off quality before each release.
  • You have a proven working experience in global context
  • Experience from Agile Development
  • Have experience within Digital
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
