We are excited to be in an ignitive phase where our departments are rapidly growing. We now have this new position within our HR Operations team. Have a look!

Let us describe the challenge we offer

Currently, payroll is outsourced on all markets to different vendors. To unleash our potential and lead by courage, we will, as of January 2022, implement a common outsourced payroll solution which will eventually cover all our markets in Europe and North America.

We are therefore looking for a new star who wants to take on this challenge together with the team, and at the same time being a part of Polestar's explosive expansion.

You will be part of the HR Operations Team which has a global responsibility for Polestar's common HR systems, basic processes regarding our employees, and wide responsibility within Sweden-Europe-North America for Payroll, HR administration and support.

This position will be based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is preferable if you can start January 2022.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will have two main areas of responsibility: Hiring and other HR administration for EMEA, mainly in our HR system Workday, and Payroll administration in relation to the outsourcing agreement. With an eye for refinement, you will identify and suggest and implement process- and system improvements to secure accuracy and quality.

The main tasks will also include:

  • Together with HR Business Partners on each market be the main point of contact for all payroll related questions; payroll provider, our employees, HR-colleagues, finance, and external parties (i.e., mobility, pension, authorities)
  • Document and evolve instructions and processes to payroll related questions to build an effective communication towards our employees and organisation
  • Supporting in payroll related reporting, audits and yearly projects affecting payroll

This role will work closely with two other HR and Payroll Administrators supporting each other as needed as part of Polestar’s core behaviors – we are committed to our overall success before individual gains. Since we are a small but growing team, flexibility is key to success, and you will therefore also support the extended HR team with relevant operational projects when needed.

Who you are

To be a great fit for this position we believe you to be a structured and efficient person who is passionate and obsessive over every detail. You are used to independently drive your own tasks whilst having a close collaboration with others. To you, it is important to enable effective working relationships with both external and internal parties. Also, you thrive when you get to to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast paced changing and growing organization. You enjoy having a clear area of responsibility but will not hesitate to step outside of you comfort zone to understand and learn new things and to constantly improve.

In addition, we believe you to have:
