Do you have an internship period or master’s thesis coming up? Submit an open application for spring 2022 to have the chance of becoming part of our electrical journey with sustainability and innovation in focus.

This is an open application for spring 2022. If we find an opening for a possible internship or master’s thesis within a department of ours we’ll directly contact the most suitable candidates for that particular project. In the end of this ad you can read more about our Departments located at our HQ. 

 

What you’ll do

Whether it’s a full-time internship or a master’s thesis you want to do with us, we’ll try our best to individually adapt the assignment to your educational purpose, your future career goals and your inner motivation. We can guarantee a flexible and dynamic workplace with an open mindset for new learnings and perspectives.

 

Who you are

You’re warmly welcome to send your open application to us if you are:

  • Studying a higher level education, preferably on a master level.
  • Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of two months as part of your education, alternatively need a business partner to complete your thesis as part of your education.
  • Over 18 years old.
  • We accept interns from all over the world – same rules apply regardless of your background or country of origin. Regardless, you need to have a legal permit to live and do your internship or master’s thesis in Sweden. Please note that the process might be more extensive if you’re not an EU citizen.
  • You need to prove that you are insured in your country of origin during the internship (a liability insurance as well as an accident at work insurance). If you are relocating, you are responsible for covering the costs yourself.

The last day for application is October 30th. If we find an interesting match we will contact you no later than the end of November. We will continuously read the incoming applications and might contact you earlier.

We’re thankful for receiving a great number of interesting candidates working with us, unfortunately we won’t be able to answer possible questions before the next step in the recruitment process. We do not accept applications via email or other channels.

Brand & Marketing

The Brand & Marketing department is responsible for monitoring the market and developing a strong and sustainable Polestar brand. There are eight teams that operate within Brand & Marketing: Market Planning; Content Production; Branding; Digital Customer Experience; Media Management and Digital Marketing; Partnership and Culture; Marketing Communication; and Customer Relationship Management.

Customer Experience

The Customer Experience team, also known as CX, inspires a customer-centric mindset to unite our teams, business and partners around our customers. CX is divided into five competence areas: Customer Insight & Analytics, Space experience, Customer Care, Customer Service and Commercial Training. 

Digital (IT)

The Digital departments covers the digital touchpoints for Polestar’s customers and partners. The digital products, platforms and services are related from the business processes, the function of departments and to the customer journey.

Finance

The Finance team is responsible for managing the financial regulation and development at Polestar to build a sustainable future. This includes for example controlling, accounting, financial services, accounts payable and bookkeeping.

Global Sales

The Global Sales department is responsible for overseeing the international sales operations by making sure our offers are aligned with what our customers and partners need. The department is divided into the areas Sales Operations, Retail, Global Fleet Operations and Global Sales.

Human Recourses

The HR department supports the organization on the road to success. This includes areas such as HR Business, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Market Expansion and Talent Management. The team is also involved in implementing and developing Polestar’s core behaviors and company culture.

Legal

The Legal team is a dynamic group of in-house lawyers who focus on creative and proactive legal guidance at Polestar. The team is also publishing the Code of Conduct, Corporate Policies and are handling legal topics that will help us reach for the stars.

Office Administration

Office Administration is a part of HR and focuses on managing the office at our HQ including front desk management and administration, while delivering exceptional guest service.

Planning, Product & Programs

The Planning, Product & Programs is divided into five ambitious teams: Planning, Product, Polestar’s Connected Car, Programs and Commercial Cars. Together, their mission is to run longer-term programs such as Polestar’s connectivity as well as making the Polestars “ready to drive”. The department works closely with R&D and the Quality department.

PR & Communications

This PR & Communications department is divided into four areas: Public Relations, Internal Communications, Events, and Storytelling. The teams have the aim to position Polestar as a business with real momentum and to establish Polestar as a visionary electric performance brand.

Purchasing

The Purchasing team is responsible for managing and driving the Polestar activities related to procurement of goods and services. For example monitoring the supply chain, selecting suppliers and markets or contract negotiations.

Quality & Logistics

The Q & L department work to ensure the quality in Polestar products throughout the life-cycle of our product and services. This includes the delivering, supply chain and exceeding customer expectations. The department is divided into three areas: Quality, Order to Delivery and Logistics.

Recruitment

The Recruitment team is a part of the HR department and is responsible to recruit professionals for the SWE/EMEA region and the development of Polestar’s recruitment processes. The team is also focusing on building a strong and sustainable employer brand to attract diverse and highly skilled talents.

Research & Development

The R&D department at Polestar develops our great vehicles by managing products, platforms, lifetime through projects and are also aligning with stakeholders. The focus areas includes all from software to hardware, to design and engineering and making sure that Polestar is delivering above expectations.

Strategy & Business Development

The Strategy & Business Development department aligns Polestar’s business processes with our strategic business goals. This is done by creating sustainable strategies, implementing business ideas and analyse new business areas that will enable Polestar to shoot for the stars.
