Let us describe the challenge we offer

With Polestar’s expansion into Spain this role will have strategic, operational and full profitability responsibility for the company’s activities in the market. This position is focused on establishing the exciting new Polestar brand and its retail footprint in order to drive sales and revenue, deliver an outstanding customer experience and generate sustainable profitability - therefore this crucial role will manage the Sales & Marketing, Network and Customer Service operations as well as the support functions.

The Role

Polestar Spain will be an extension of Polestar headquarters in Sweden. The primary purpose of the market function is to both inform the global strategy and then drive successful implementation in the local market.


Core Responsibilities

To establish and manage overall Polestar operations in the market, combining strategic and operational leadership in order to ensure the best use of people and resources to reach the goals set by Polestar HQ.  You will work closely with Polestar HQ in developing and executing the global Polestar strategy, ensuring appropriate market- and voice-of-the-customer input. You will report directly to Polestar’s global Head of Sales. You will also:

  • Ensure all local market objectives / KPIs are owned and delivered by the team.
  • Lead the brand’s sales and marketing functions, delivering creative commercial initiatives and effective advertising campaigns, managing sales performance, customer satisfaction, profitability and brand image in order to achieve volume, quality, customer satisfaction and profit targets.
  • Manage the Polestar retail function (Polestar Spaces and/or Destinations) and deliver a world class & differentiated retail experience. Work closely with the retail team and Polestar HQ stakeholders to shape and deliver the Polestar retail proposition.  
  • Work closely with the Customer Care Centre to ensure that Polestar prospects and customers receive outstanding support at all times. Ensure that all elements of the Polestar ownership experience are delivered.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with journalists, press agencies and external PR stakeholders in order to strengthen the Polestar brand and product awareness in the market.

Good strategic understanding of the general commercial environment and potential changes and trends in the future in the local market.
