Key Account Manager - Technical Sales

We offer the opportunity to drive the monetization of Polestars’ technology. You will be the first one in this position at Polestar, creating your own schedule and success. While at the subject successful – If you are, you’ll probably need to build a team and set the future success standards and goals. It all starts with you. 

The position will report to head of Strategy and Business Development. Depending on your current location you’ll be located in our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden or at our office in Coventry, England.

 

What you’ll do

In this role, you will be responsible developing and structuring the monetization of our technology from scratch. You will need to develop accounts, set the account business strategies based on in-depth understanding and assessment of market and customer needs, while taking full responsibility for the strategic key accounts long-term business partnership.

For example you will:

  • Develop key customer accounts and relationships
  • Drafting contractual agreements
  • Lead and manage the day to day relationship with the key customers
  • Review and develop the sales performance; achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and profitability performance
  • Develop strategies for best practice

Who you are

You’re a seasoned relationship driven salesperson, with ability to formulate, execute and implement concrete plans. You have a strong business acumen with proven presentation and project management skills, with a high level of customer engagement.

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

  • Degree in engineering or industrial engineering, business administration or equivalent 
  • Extensive previous experience from Sales/Business Development with international exposure 
  • Experience from a technology driven, project-based and quality focused industry
  • Experience from the automotive industry, preferably at a Tier 1 company.
