Key Objectives & Responsibilities:

The role will provide the HR full administration support, this is a varied role, tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing new starter data (currently contained in an Excel database).
  • Support with administering new starter data for payroll
  • Update our benefit management partner weekly with new starters and leavers
  • Prepare and issue relevant HR documents eg. pension eligibility confirmation, successful completion of probation period, reference requests, travel certificates
  • Liaising with internal and external IT support in creating new starter accounts and to ensure a smooth IT onboarding process
  • Support with expenses processing
  • Be responsible for organising and coordinating internal technical training
  • Manage new nominations with fleet for the car scheme
  • Organise corporate photos for new starters, access passes and general onboarding requirements
  • Support the wider HR team with projects and process improvement

As we are growing the role and level of responsibility will too and therefore there is definite scope for in role development and exposure to more complex HR tasks.

Academic Requirements

You will need to have demonstrable, relevant HR administration experience ideally within an automotive or engineering environment.  CIPD level 3 minimum is desirable but not essential

Additional

  • Organised and methodical approach to work, able to review information and identify issues
  • Ability to prioritise own workload, meet strict deadlines and cope with large volumes of work
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with good numeracy skills and a confidence to work with numbers and data
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and IT skills (MS Office)
