The System Architect will be responsible to lead the development of new features from ideas to mature designs.
Work with different teams across the business to translate concept ideas into requirements and solutions across the whole vehicle, using model based system engineering techniques.
Responsible for the definition of functional and system concepts, allocating requirements at both logical and physical levels.
Capable of steering technical decision making meetings with all stakeholders to achieve balanced design trade-offs.
Responsible to define and maintain System Design and Architecture solutions and allocate requirements to hardware, software and mechatronic components.
Coordinate the realization of the solutions together with the involved stakeholders by defining and leading the activities required to transform the concept to a solution.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional team members without direct authority.
Flexible, enthusiastic, and methodical individual who is self-motivated, able to work well under own initiative and remain focused under pressure.
Demonstrated knowledge of whole-vehicle systems with detailed electrical system/component design & integration experience.
Expertise in system engineering and vehicle architecture principles at both logical and physical layer.
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
Very familiar with existing vehicle technologies as well as awareness of future vehicle technologies, with an ability to inform future vehicle designs.
Strong awareness of Functional Safety (ISO26262), cyber security would be considered an asset.
Experience or knowledge of relevant tools (e.g. PREEvision, Rational Rhapsody, MatLab, Simulink)
Electrical, Electronic Systems, Electro-mechanical, Automotive, or similar honors engineering degree. Other recognized engineering qualifications combined with relevant significant experience may be considered
