Technical Operations Specialist - Southeast

Let us describe the challenge we offer

Technical Operations encompasses Service Point Technical Support as well as Event Technical Support, and therefore you will be responsible for supporting the Polestar service point network with technical expertise, knowledge transfer, and assistance leading to case resolution while supporting vehicles  at PR / marketing events & loans.

This role requires 50-60% overnight travel throughout North America and are primely located in Miami, Florida, USA.

What you’ll do

Your main responsibilities will be to manage the intake and timely handling of Vehicle Reports from Polestar service point technicians.

It will also be to:

  • Research all information and data, document all details, analyze the problem from multiple perspectives while providing prompt responses with recommendations on further diagnosis and/or resolution
  • Provide assistance via remote diagnostic tools
  • Provide on-site diagnostic support and knowledge transfer at the service points
  • Provide remote support to mobile service technicians
  • Perform inspections and create field reports
  • Track trends for Product Follow-Up Engineers
  • Support press & marketing vehicles at track, press, and marketing events.
  • Provide service points with action items for continuous workshop facility and process improvements

Who you are

We are looking for you who’s customer oriented detail oriented and self-motivated with an innovative mindset. You are able to remain flexible and positive in all situations and motivates by thinking outside the box. To be a fit for Polestar you have drive and determination to work in an evolving, ever changing environment.

To be a great match we believe you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Master Technician.
  • Understand the needs of a premium customer within a retail environment
  • Understand how to communicate and negotiate with retailer employees and customers
  • Hold current ASE certifications, including L1 and L3
  • Have extensive automotive diagnostic knowledge in FlexRay, CAN, and hybrid/electric propulsion
  • Network fast and work well under pressure
