ServiceNow Technical Lead

In this role you will be responsible and empowered with the authority to make decisions that impact the platform and does so in alignment to the business strategy and governance. This role supports the platform operations team as an executive champion.

It will be your focus to articulate a vision and business value of building, supporting and developing the platform. You will follow up and measure that delivery meet expected result.

This position is located at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities as a Technical Lead of ServiceNow will be demand- and platform management where you will lead teams in alignment to business strategy, global processes, roadmap and platform governance. It will be your responsibility to identify resource needs and support in budget setting, forecasting and financial reporting. You will work with tools & Technology evaluation.

Further on you will:

  • Development and maintenance of a lifecycle plan for the Platform Service, aligned with Digital Strategy and policies
  • Create, maintain and follow-up Platform Service roadmap
  • License Management
  • Supplier Management
  • Actively report and contribute to Digital governance teams
  • Coordinate with dependent Services
  • Chair the governance forums for the Platform Service
  • Management and oversight of escalations
  • Identify and manage opportunities for Platform Service improvements
  • Create and support creation of Business Case justify implementation of new enhancements


Who you are

To be a great fit for this role we believe you have minimum five years’ experience of hands on work in the area of ITSM and/or ESM (Enterprise service management). You have a high-level view of the ServiceNow Platform, the different solution elements and how ServiceNow interacts with the surrounding IT landscape.

We also believe you:

  • Have experience in Agile and Dev-Ops way of Working (WoW)
  • Are able to think holistically and understand cross functional processes
  • Are able to map Strategy into practical solutions with extra focus on automation of workflows
  • Are fluent in English, spoken and written
  • ITIL Certified is meritorious
