Digital workplace enables a digital work environment of end-user working tools such as hardware (computers and phones) and provides digital collaboration solutions such as meeting room systems and collaboration tools (Office365). Driven by business needs and the vision of an easy to use, high performance, and modern end-user experience. Maintaining various applications used by teams at Polestar in their everyday work to ensure an efficient and collaborative workplace.

The Digital Workplace service delivery focus on multiple entities, in cooperation with the business, the Global Digital organization, and other stakeholders.

About the role

As the Digital Lead, you will own the vision and the roadmap for the digital team, and responsible for planning & execution. You are responsible for specific business KPIs, and responsible for ensuring capacity demand and supply matching is upheld, on a long-term and sprint basis. You will work closely with your team to ensure business value and that user feedback is translated into new developments when necessary. With your understanding of the market/industry, customer needs, and tech-savviness you will ask the right questions and steer the team in the right direction

The Digital Lead will direct the Technical Leads for the Digital Workplace global services included, in setting best practices, configuring baselines, streamlining the service design, and improving delivery meeting the organizational needs for the Digital Collaboration (Office 365, etc.), Managed Workstation & Mobility, End-point application Management, and Digital Facility functions.

We are looking for you who is a confident relationship builder, working alongside external and internal stakeholders to support your team in developing your digital services.

What you will do

  • Setting the vision for the Digital Team, and communicates this effectively to your team members as well as stakeholders outside the team and Digital Product Area
  • Collaborating with e.g., Digital Strategy team (under Deputy CDO), Head of Domain and DPM, to ensure the overarching Digital vision and solutions align with the team's strategy and requirements
  • Setting the end-to-end output strategy, from inception to production, for your team's digital products/services/platforms
  • Setting prioritization in terms of capacity, including flagging change in resource, needs to DPM
  • Be responsible for following up on team-level KPIs and OKRs, and if needed steer the team's direction to meet set KPIs/OKRs
  • Supports the DPM in budget-planning for the Digital Product Area

Desired expertise and skills

  • Have more than three years ’experience working in relevant roles in digital organizations
  • Have deep experience leading teams of IT resources
  • Are experienced within project management (desired)
  • Have proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant area of business
  • Have ITIL Foundation experience with ITIL based Service Delivery
  • Proven track record of performing in a similar role, with demonstrable skills of leading teams towards a product vision in an agile setting
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional teams from tech, design, and business
  • Efficient communicator, comfortable speaking with business stakeholders
  • Experience with the direct to consumer sales model
  • Understanding and knowledge of various roles within an automotive organization and how they interact with the digital product offering
