Global Digital Product Manager - Manufacturing and Logistics

We are currently looking for a Global Digital Product Manager to join our Manufacturing and Logistics organization.

About the role

As the Global Digital Product Manager for Manufacturing and Logistics at Polestar you will be responsible for the department enabling digital solutions for supporting the Industrial area. This role manages multiple teams within development, operations, testing and support, covering the area from material supply to vehicle handover. This role is expected to work closely with senior management to define the organizational strategy and execute on portfolio initiatives.

The purpose of the domain is the digital enablement of industrial manufacturing, supply Chain and O2D for Polestar. This is a newly established domain, that will grow over time to enable the next step in Polestar's growth.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage multiple teams within digital Manufacturing and Logistics area, as part of Digital Product Creation and Industrial Domain.
  • Define the strategic global digital Manufacturing and Logistics plans and technology roadmaps, and secure alignment with the overall global strategic business plan.
  • Build, grow and retain the right talent for the digital delivery teams
  • Work with global stakeholders both within business (internally and externally), and digital, and build trust-based relationships
  • Sponsor and deliver digital projects and initiatives in alignment to requirements
  • Work with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning across functions and within the team
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships to provide the right tools and maximize it’s value
  • Create & monitor budget activities, make responsible decisions and adjust operations as appropriate to the environment and adapt cost-effective planning
  • Set goals, provide feedback, appraise performance, and help your team develop their careers

Be accountable for that all digital solutions are secure and meet all global regulatory, privacy and other requirements

Who you are

  • You are an experienced leader who is motivated by challenges, enjoys building teams and cooperate with others to reach common goals.
  • You have a clear understanding of the business challenges and targets within the Industrial domain and a clear focus on business needs and sense of urgency.
  • You have the ability to manage a large organization, to motivate others and have excellent communication skills. You are curious to learn new things and strive for continuous improvement.
  • You have experience from working within the Industrial domain, understanding the Manufacturing and Logistic processes.
  • You have knowledge in Industry 4.0 and SMART Factory and have a passion for driving digital transformation in a production landscape and it’s surroundings.
  • You understand the importance of having lean logistic flows, real time management, traceability and visualization. Transparency and customer focus are part of your guiding star.
  • You are eager to feel the Industrial heartbeat and can’t wait to join the team
