The Warranty Analyst will be a central member in driving the success of our Customer Service Organization, reporting to the Quality & Technical Operations Manager, Polestar North America.

You are a self-motivated candidate that thrives in a start-up environment. You will work within our product quality team and be excited by the opportunity to improve upon the Polestar product and customer experience. You will work directly with our Polestar Authorized Service Points focusing on the highest quality customer service and expedient claims handling within warranty and component analysis claims.

What you’ll do

  • Identify trends from customer warranty data to make recommendations for improvements to Polestar products and processes.
  • Field and process retailer claim inquires, escalating where appropriate.
  • Act as point of contact for Polestar Authorized Service Points and retailer staff
  • Provide guidance on correct warranty claims & payment procedures, assessing compliance within Polestar guidelines
  • Coordinate & establish onsite trainings with retailer staff to establish strong knowledge of internal claim channels, processes, and procedures.
  • Utilizing all resources, apply analytical strategies to identify out of line claim conditions and recommend a solution.
  • Process and tracking of payment for warranty claims and claim inquiries in the Polestar Warranty System.
  • Receive, inspect and test replaced warranty components to provide data to Polestar technicians and service personnel
  • Review technical concerns, methods, and findings with PFU (Product Follow-Up) engineers, technical training, and technical support.

 Who you are

The right candidate will have a proven background in warranty claims and technical knowledge in a dealership or production setting to deliver a high-quality customer service experience.

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in automotive, production line or retailer environment highly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge in processing and handling warranty claims and payment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to pull conclusions from multiple data sources
  • Sound knowledge of warranty policies and procedures (administrative and technical)
  • Knowledge of current retailer service, operations, and challenges
  • Ability to think strategically and work tactically
  • Drive and determination to work in an evolving, ever changing environment
  • Ability to investigate and identify the root causes of technical materials return
